Description

Decadent layers of thinly sliced British potatoes, seasoned with garlic, rosemary and black pepper, cooked in a rich double cream sauce made with British mature Cheddar cheese and Italian Grana Padano.

Delicious as a side or try as a main meal alongside sautéed green beans with shallots, thyme, and lemon juice and a slice of crusty sourdough bread.

Our drinks pairing
The pairing will be dependent on how you serve this creamy side, but as a general rule of thumb opt for a refreshing, slightly acidic drink to cut through the richness. We suggest a zesty Sauvignon Blanc or, if you are not in the mood for alcohol, try a cloudy lemonade.

    Cooking Instructions

    For best results please microwave.
    Microwave:
    Remove sleeve, pierce film several times and place in microwave.
    The following is a guide only.
    850W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 20 seconds.
    1000W microwaves: Full power for 1 minute 10 seconds.
    After heating, allow to stand for 1 minute, then remove film and serve. (CAUTION: hot steam may escape).

    DO NOT REHEAT.

    Oven:
    Remove sleeve and film.
    Remove the contents from the tray and place in an ovenproof dish, covering the potato with the sauce.
    Loosely cover with foil. Place in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
    ELECTRIC 190°C - FAN 170°C - GAS MARK 5

    Make sure food is hot throughout and serve.
