Lamb Rogan Josh
Medium spiced curry with British lamb pieces and chickpeas in an onion and tomato sauce. (225g)
Description
Rogan josh is dish with a fuzzy history. It’s a Kashmiri dish. Definitely has some Moghul influence way back and it’s become a global classic. Succulent pieces of lamb leg and shoulder are slow cooked in a medium-spiced curry sauce with chickpeas, tomatoes and natural yoghurt spiked with Indian spices and green chilli.
Our serving suggestion It’s a great dish to serve with naan bread or parathas, which are perfect for scooping every last bit of curry!
Simply garnish with some chopped fresh coriander.
Our drinks pairing We'd probably go for a juicy, fruity but not too oaky Shiraz or Merlot which would also work well with Rogan josh.
