Chicken Chasseur with Dauphinoise Potatoes
British chicken pieces in a tomato, white wine and tarragon sauce with dauphinoise potatoes. (375g)
Description
Chicken Chasseur served with Dauphinoise Potatoes.
Inspired by a French classic. Succulent chicken thigh pieces are slow cooked in an elegant white wine and tomato sauce with sautéed onions and sliced button mushrooms. Finished with garlic, thyme, and floral tarragon.
Served with the most decadent of sides, Dauphinoise Potatoes. Layers of thinly sliced British potatoes are cooked in a rich double cream sauce made with British mature cheddar cheese and Italian Grana Padano, infused with garlic, rosemary and cracked black pepper.
Our serving suggestion
For an easy mid-week supper, serve alongside creamy potato dauphinoise and steamed tenderstem broccoli.
Make this even more indulgent by topping your dauphinoise potatoes with diced smoked pancetta and grated Grana Padano cheese before baking in the oven until golden brown and bubbling.
Our drinks pairing
Perfect paired with a chilled dry white wine such as a Riesling or an oaky Chardonnay.
